TOMS RIVER – Earlier this school year, Citta School hosted a pep rally focused on goal setting. Afterwards, every one of its scholars in grades K-5 set mathematics, English language arts, and personal goals. They determined the action steps needed in order to accomplish their goals, and they’ve been tracking their own progress since.

The school hosted its first annual Scholar Growth Parade, where students celebrated their accomplishments this school year. Teachers assisted students in creating growth posters, and they paraded around the Citta field to applause from families and staff. In honor of all the students’ hard work, perseverance, and their growth mindset, the Growth Parade included fun Zumba lessons and ice pops shared with families and friends.
