Italian Street FestivalSeaside Heights will host the 16th Annual Columbus Day Parade and Italian Street Festival held on October 10, 11, and 12th on Grant Avenue. The Festival will run on Friday, October 10 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. On Saturday, October 11 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.and on Sunday, October 12 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The parade will take place at 1:00 p.m. on the Boulevard on Sunday, October 12.

Breast Cancer "Pretty in Pink"To help increase public awareness about Breast Cancer, the Ocean County Health Department and other members of the Ocean County Cancer Coalition will be collaborating with WOBM on Fridays in October to discuss the issue and remind listeners around the county to wear pink on Friday, October 24 in honor of those living with the disease or in remembrance of others who had it.
